This vintage wall-mounted porcelain hand-grinder hopper is an example of beautiful iridescent Lustreware. The Art Deco design on the front is gold, with COFFEE also applied in gold. The hopper is mounted on a painted wooden backboard with mounting holes drilled out. There is a lightweight metal cap on thehopper that is dented but not corroded. The workings of the grinding mechanism are intact but the handle and catcher are missing. The metal grinding parts are somewhat corroded. There is a notch in the rim of the mouth of the hopper that is not a chip - it is an irregularity in the porcelain. The board is is 15 1/2 inches long and 5 1/4 inches wide. The hopper and backboard stick out 4 inches from the wall. The hopper itself is 7 inches high, 4 1/4 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches deep. By itself this is a gorgeous piece to hang, but with the right additions it could be a functional coffee grinder too. Guaranteed 1-business-day turnaround shipping.
