These are Nickel plated check valves with High Temperature resistance up to 175-180 Degree Fahrenheit. This Check valve is 3/8" Female NPT X 3/8" Male NPT. Airflow is from Female to Male end. This 3/8" Check Valve can be used with any 3/8" Male NPT Braided Air line with one end 3/8" Male NPT. Ideal for custom build braided hoses to extend the Original Compressor Leader hose. These can also be used as a direct replacement for following Viair Compressors. Airflow direction is from female threads to male NPT threads. Works with Viair 420C, 460C, 480C, & 485C as these compressors come with 3/8" Male thread leader hose. Equivalent to Viair part number: 92833 Required Instructions for install:- (READ BEFORE INSTALLATION) * Use Thread Sealant instead of Teflon Tape, If thread sealant is not available then use only one to two turns of Teflon tape. * Hand tighten Check valve on Tank side (Male End only), Use 16-18 LBS Torque, If Torque wrench is not available then just hand tight and then give it 1 -1.5 turns. Do not over tighten it as it may restrict the air flow or break the plastic seat inside the check valve.
