Tekton 44 is a durable, thixot ropic, fast drying anti corrosion coating based on polymerized bitumen. The product has excellent sound deadening qualities and offers durable protection to the chassis of cars, truck and coaches. After the product has completely dried it remains a tough a dhesive film that offers good protection against various climates and gravel. Shake before use. The surfaces to be treated must be clean, dry, rust - , dust - and grease free . Tekto n 44 can be applied by light airless equipment, but also by an air-mix pistol with an air - pressure of 3 - 6 bar / 45 to 90 psi. Optimum spraying distance is about 1 foot. Depending on the application, the product can be thinned using a solvent. Treat the su rface with Tekton 44 until the desired layer thickness is reached. If thicker layers are wanted it is to be recommended to dry the layers in between. Overspray or equipment contaminated with overspray, must be cleaned while still wet with a solvent. Depending on the viscosity of the sprayed product, a thinner might have to be mixed in (consult product manufacturer for appropriate thinning agent). If product is hard to spray through the wand, shortening the wand might help. The product may not be stored under +10°C / 50 ° F and above +30°C / 85 ° F. The packaging must be protected from direct sunlight and heat. When stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated area, the product has a shelf life of 2 years in unopened, origin al packaging.
