I am a Cabinet Maker by trade and woodworker by passion. I use trim routers every day, purchased 2 Makita Cordless routers and instantly knew the stock router base was worthless. So, I made my own. My router base is far more stable, safer, durable, and easier to use. There made out of 4"x5"x1/4"" clear acrylic, which is much larger than the stock one.
