Created with Eselt - Mobile Templates for eBay Sellers Ring Polishing Drill Bit Chuck Adapter for size 8 - 13.5 polisher
3D Printed Ring Polishing Tool
Usage:
Get yourself some good ring polish. I ended up using some left over Diamond Polish I had left over from fixing a glass table. It's extremely smooth and brilliant. It doesn't cost the earth and you can Amazon it. There is also Tungsten polish that you may already have, completely usable.
Put your new 3d printed bit into your favorite drill.
Get a nice clean smooth rag (no microfiber, it just sucks up the polish). A blue shop paper town works great. As do any of the newer paper towels.
Push the ring on the holder. It will eventually get to the point where it can't move, you are good to go.
Apply the polish to the towel.
Spin the drill with one hand while using the other to apply the polish. Use a back and forth action. Do this for about a minute.
Dry wipe with no polish and see if it looks good. Clean with water.
Re-apply polish if needed.
Finish smoothing using a little water only (no polish) to get to a great shine.
