PREAC Miniature Mini Shipbuilding Hobby Saw We are relisting this item because a previous buyer did not realize that a crosscut sled and rip fence is not included.
PREAC Miniature Electric (corded) Hobby Saw that is excellent for model shipbuilding and doll house work. When we acquired this saw it had some surface rust and sawdust accumulation on it. We completely disassembled the saw (except the saw arbor & trunnion were removed from the table as a unit to avoid issues with saw blade alignment after reassembly.) cleaned it and resurfaced the steel top. There are still a couple of small carbon stained areas on the top, but overall it’s 100% better than it was before. All bare metal parts were given a coat of wax and the anti-slip strips on the bottom were replaced. We checked the runout on the saw blade arbor and found it to be tight and smooth with essentially no runout. There was some damage to the original power cord, so we replaced it with a new one. The saw is now in nice condition, but it only comes with one marginally sharp blade and there is no crosscut sled or rip fence included.
