This Porter-Cable air compressor replaces an older Husky unit that couldn't/wouldn't hold air in the tank and finally bit the dust. This new unit is better built than my Husky, relatively light, easy to move and easy to store when not using. I really like the 6 gallon capacity. I use it around the house and garage for various projects (filling tires, pneumatic air guns, cleaning equipment, etc.). It's not too loud, but you will know it's there when it is running. I've been using it for the last week to install window and door casing. It's a little louder that I would like (measured ~87 db) but not a show stopper. On a smooth surface, it will move around a bit if the rubber feet are not clean. At 150 psi, it loses ~10 psi in 24 hours which I don't consider to be an issue since the instructions say to drain it after each use to purge any moisture. Fast delivery, works great.
