Mini Metal Lathe 1 hp 750 watt Mophorn Vevor Motor Kit Belt Pulleys Mount

This is a complete install kit to install your own Servo Motor. Fits Many Mini Metal Lathes. (see my other listings for a kit with motor) A complete set of all the adapters required to install an industrial sewing machine servo motor in the original motor location of your spindle drive mini metal lathe. Allows for complete reinstall of all threading gears and auto feed systems. In stock and ready to ship. Fits mini metal lathes that the drive belt goes directly to the spindle gear. Currently does not fit mini metal lathes that have an intermediate shaft (high/low gear). To fit these you would need a different top gear and a different belt. For those who want to use their own servo motor right now. The horsepower  improvement  and speed control is incredible. As long as you pick one of the right motors, this system provides full power at any speed and that includes Spindle RPM's as low as 60 RPM's Note: Individual parts: Motor mount - a timing belt with timing gears - the spacer or the spindle head bearing holder plate. Please contact me through Pricetronic. This kit fits 1 HP 750 watt Vevor and Mophorn industrial sewing machine motors. If you are using a 3/4 hp servo motor you will need a different mount . I no longer make the 3/4hp mount. Only fits the servo motors with the square face plate as seen in images. Does not fit other types. Caution: Do not buy/use the Vevor 750 reduced RPM motor (3,000 RPM speed limit). This is because Vevor had this motor detuned, limited to 3,000 RPM. This is done in the field wingdings and cannot be undone. It also greatly reduces torque. Also make note: These brand X motors arrive unmarked and are mixed in with high torque motors by employees by mistake while boxing up motors to make quotas. We have actually received a few ourselves. Fortunately every motor is tested and the manufacturer replaced the low torque motors for us. This mount allows for full adjustment of motor both vertically and horizontally. This allows for perfect belt alignment. Mount only fits specific industrial sewing machine servo motors. See measurements in photos. The Custom Crafter made in USA aluminum spindle bearing locking plate which doubles as an adapter to allow for a larger drive belt. (See photos). The Custom Crafter made in USA aluminum spindle spacer. This mod is required to fit the larger drive belt required to manage the increased torque + the servo motors ability to change speed in seconds (see photos). A steel or aluminum spindle timing pulley, re-machined by The Custom Crafter to fit the mini lathe spindle shaft (see photos). This pulley fits 28mm spindles. Measured in inch = 1.100" Spindle shaft at timing gear and spacer = 1.102" ~ 1.110" most are 1.1003" A steel or aluminum motor timing pulley, re-machined by the Custom Crafter. This pulley fits servo motors with a 15mm shaft (see photos of motor). Measured in inch: Motor shaft = 0.589" Pulley bore = 0.592" A new toothed 1/2" wide timing belt to fit the increased width 1/2" wide drive pulleys. Small parts, the mounting nuts and washers come installed hand tight on the mount. Assembly requires some technical skill to include minor machine work. You will have to cut the diecast gear housing to allow additional room for the larger timing belt. (see photo) this can be done with a hacksaw and a file but a pneumatic cut off tool or die grinder will ease this job. Note: Check the photos in this listing. See the red lathe. If your lathe has holes instead of the normal slots, this motor adapter kit will not fit without your ability to slot the cast iron lathe bed. Additionally if you return this item for this reason, you will pay shipping  both  ways.

A spreader wrench is a big help but this can be managed with a hammer and punch.

You will need metric allen wrenches + a 13mm/1/2" deep socket and ratchet.

some longer allen head metric allen head bolts may also be required, especially it you over tighten and strip the chinese ones provided with your machine.
