Makita 70 Lb. Advanced Avt Breaker Hammer
The 70 lb Advanced AVT Breaker Hammer, accepts 1-1/8'' Hex bits from Makita boasts three-component synchronized AVT system featuring a mechanical counterbalance system that helps reduce vibration during use. It features a 15-Amp motor capable of tackling many jobs while producing 53.9 foot-pounds of energy. The housing of the AVT system is separated from the motor and mechanism to limit the amount of vibration you feel while using the electric breaker hammer. Rubberized handles also help lower vibration. Damage to the commutator during use is prevented with an automatic brush cut-off, improving the life of the tool. The soft no-load capability of the hammer also extends the tools life by reducing the motor speed when the tool is not being used. A soft start design provides easier and quicker startups. Two LED lights are on the tool; the power light notifies you of any damage to the cord or switch failure. The service light lets you know the brushes need replacement within eight hours. Lifting the Makita breaker hammer is simple thanks to recessed handles. The hammer cart makes it easy to move the hammer and all your bits as well. If the bolt holes or bolts become damaged, the cylindrical bit holder lets you easily adjust the assembly. With a 16.4-foot power cord, you have the option of plugging the hammer in a different location from the work area.
