Lathe Turned Hand Crafted Wood Ribbed Vase Vtg Heavy 6.5 Lb 11 In Tall

A very lovely, vintage, 11" tall very heavy vase x 5-1/2" top diameter, 3" base diameter. Very unique and interesting collectible. Hate to part with it, but scaling down my collections. I've never seen another like it. Hand turned on a lathe, ribbed. Has a dark brown, reddish color to the wood. Picture 3 shows the interior of vase, looking down from the top. Accentuates the grain of the wood and interesting interior coloring No cracks, chips or crazing. Has a few small blemishes, from time and display and one scratch as shown in photo 6. They are not very prominent or noticeable. Feel sure you could wipe with a dab of wood stain or varnish/polyurethane to have them mostly disappear. In my mind they give the vase character and I will leave this to the new owner. Very unique and eye catching From a smoke free, pet free environment
