Hitachi introduces a new compact and lightweight angle grinder with the new G23SR. Weighing in at under 10 pounds and measuring a full inch shorter than previous models, the G23SR allows for optimal control while providing needed power, torque and durability. The 15 Amp, 1,700 Watt motor supplies plenty of power with superior dust and heat protection. The armature is dual sealed with varnish and a heat resistant adhesive to protect from wear caused by dust and debris. Labyrinth retainers at both ends of the armature help to prevent dust ingress to bearings, ensuring smoother operation and longer life. Finally, the G23SR employs an iron bearing holder at the commutator side of the motor for improved durability. The G23SR includes 9" guard, wrench and side handle.
