SRS BiasKit 3 tube amplifier bias setup for EL84. Includes one (1) Mini BiasTool PVT plate voltage tester and one (1) Mini BiasTool bias current tester, plus instructions on how to hook up and use the devices.
The SRS BiasTool
test adapter is used world-wide by tube amplifier technicians for correct setting of bias current, a critical measurement and adjustment required when installing new output tubes in a tube amplifier.
The SRS BiasTool PVT
test adapter allows safe, hands-free measurement of dangerous plate voltage in tube amplifiers- a critical measurement for determining the correct maximum safe bias setting in any tube amp. This device is the version used with the smaller 9-pin octal based output tubes such as: EL84, 6BQ5, E84L, EL84M, EL84S, EL86, 7189, 7189A , and many more. This device is *not* compatible with the larger 8-pin octal based tubes such as EL34, 6L6GC and KT88, etc- see our other listings for devices compatible with those tubes and amplifiers.
