Dewalt and MAC share the same batteries and core components, Mac is a slightly upgraded/overmolded rebadging of Dewalt (same tool/different color). In other words, Mac takes a DeWalt tool, adds a heavier duty rubber overmolding, makes it red, and sells them for a higher price. Everything is top of the line, brushless, and in excellent working shape. I take great care of my stuff and there's absolutely nothing wrong with any of it. I spent over $800 on what you see here and they're incredibly good tools, but I'm no longer working professionally as a mechanic and decided to downgrade to Ryobi.
