I'm not a total novice with belt grinders and not a novice at all with machinery. This is a really good machine. The motor is very quiet and the wiring job very clean. The Diktator XS kit grinder itself is pretty amazing. Parts precisely cut and drilled. The steel parts are nice and thick. Hardware well packaged. Great instruction video but it's extremely simple to assemble. I honestly didn't feel like it was a diy kit. In 2 hours I had it running and tracking well. They mount the wheels on the D plate for you so they're already spaced properly which is a time saver. The only adjustment I had to do was setting the drive wheel spacing. Very pleased. I was grinding out blades within 3 hours of opening the box. True story.
Blown away!I can't believe the quality! The price is completely deceiving, I really did not expect the kit to be better than other brands that cost more than double, but it truly is. Easy assembly, ingenious design, awesome performance!
Yep, money well spent.I couldn't get myself to pay over $1400 on a different brand which is hyped up big time on social media, I just couldn't see the value. I'm massively impressed with this XS, it's a cool design & goes together like a Swiss clock. Works incredibly well, totally idiot proof.

Laughing stockTwo of my buddies bought piles of tubes from Brian Housewart for several hundred dollars more, I laughed my **s off at them. When I showed them the XS that I got they immediately sent that junk back! They couldn't believe that they'd been totally duped, $900 from Housewart for a bunch of rusty parts which you have to weld together yourself!!!
