Our purple sandpaper is constructed with white fused alumina abrasive with a latex paper backing, resin bonded and electro coated.
White fused alumina abrasive is a high purity, synthetic mineral, featuring low heat generation and a high grinding efficiency, fast and long-lasting cut with a consistent scratch pattern.
The purple abrasive will not discolor the surface you are sanding.
Each sheet is durably resin bonded onto a waterproof latex paper to make sure the paper backing is flexible and tear-resistant. Providing a good firm comfortable fit in your hand or sander.
Ideal for both wet and dry sanding.
Sandpaper sheets can be used with water, varnish, shellac, lacquer, or oil.
The grits of the sheets are printed on the paper backing for easy identification.
Sandpaper can be used by hand, with a sanding block or for machine sanding.

Coarse grit sandpaper is good for rough sanding and removing layers of old paint and rust and scratches quickly, including rough sanding of putty, steel, fiberglass and wood material.
Medium Sanding: 120 Grit to 400 Grit
Medium grit sandpaper is suitable for semi smooth surfaces like unfinished wood, aluminum plates, fiberglass, and wall shaping.
Fine Sanding: 400 Grit to 1200 Grit
Fine grit sandpaper is good for final finishing of putty, wood, paint primer, fiberglass.
Extra Fine Sanding: 2000 Grit to 5000 Grit
