The Ingersoll Rand 38460655 air compressor tank drain extension kit (IR-DK-1) makes it faster and easier to drain an air compressor tank. This kit replaces an air compressor's standard drain valve with a ball valve that takes just a quarter turn to easily drain tank moisture and help reduce corrosion. By draining your tank completely on a daily basis, you will be preventing the effects of corrosion and prolonging the life of your air compressor. Air storage tanks must be drained to remove accumulated water and compressor oil to avoid damage.
