Professional installation is recommended Removal Guideline : Caution: Damage to the vehicle and air suspension system can be incurred if work is carried out in a manner other than specified in the instructions or in a different sequence. 1.To avoid the possibility of short circuits while working with electric components consult your owner's manual on how to disconnect your battery. 2.Consult your vehicle owner's manual, service manual, or car dealer for the correct jacking points on your vehicle and for additional care, safety and maintenance instructions. Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur. 1.Set steering to straight ahead. 2.Raise vehicle. 3.Remove rear wheel. 4.Disconnect the shock damper sensor wire. 5.Remove the four(4)top mounting bolts. 6.Remove the nut and bolt from the sway bar end link and lower shock mount. 7.Rest shock on upper control arms and remove the air line fitting from the air valve. Remove air line fitting from air hose and discard. 8.Remove air strut from the vehicle. 9.Slowly remove the air valve to deflate the air strut. 10.Remove the four(4)top mount bolts and the air strut assembly from the upper mount. Installation Guideline : 1.Install new lower o-ring and apply lubrication. 2.Install air spring onto the shock. 3.Install top rubber mount. 4.Reinstall shock nut. 5.Install o-ring into the o-ring groove on the top mount. 6.Install the four(4)new bolts securing the air spring to the upper mount. Installation Guideline : 1.Install new lower o-ring and apply lubrication. 2.Install air spring onto the shock. 3.Install top rubber mount. 4.Reinstall shock nut. 5.Install o-ring into the o-ring groove on the top mount. 6.Install the four(4)new bolts securing the air spring to the upper mount.
