The finest of the combination glass beads and aluminum oxide, M4 is ideal at removing light to medium contamination from tools, tooling, molds and dies. It is considered general purpose and can be used in a wide range of applications from texturing plastic injection molds to providing appealing finishes on stainless steel and aluminum surfaces.Dimensional changes of <1/2 mil can be expected. Glass beads combined with graded aluminum oxide form a group of specially blended mixes used for cleaning and texturing. These blends combine the abrasive cleaning power of aluminum oxide with the excellent surface finishing of glass beads. This special blend are ideally suited for applications where fast and aggressive cleaning is needed with a smooth and bright finish.
