We at Rocky Mountain Surplus strive to be fair and honest.    I items have original, as is photos include so you can see the exact condition of the items.  We buy from major companies their surplus items, most of which are new, unused items that they no longer wish to stock.   Some have original packing, some are still new but are not in original packing.    We will do our best to describe that for you in our postings.   We can not test all items before shipping, our assumption is, if its new or factory rebuilt... it works.    Used items are identified as such where possible.   Sometimes the factories buy an item, test it out for an intended application, that does not work out as they planned and they shelf the item for potential future use.  Many of my used items are like new because of this.   We do not sell heavily used items, the scrap metal yard gets those.   Shipping it not cheap, so we bundle quantities occasionally so we can realize a profit on the deal.
